ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 

Notice is hereby given by the Zoning Board of the Town of Waterford, New York, that it will hold a Public Hearing at the Waterford Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York, on October 18, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.  The following application will be heard: 

Application of Michael Satterlee of 22 Terragon Terrace, Halfmoon to construct a five unit apartment building to be located at 160 Saratoga Avenue, Waterford.  Area Variances are sought for the following:  Town Code of the Town of Waterford  161-18 (B) (2) states a minimum lot size of 60,000 sq ft  is required for this building in a C-3 District,  the proposed project with an overall lot size of 12,414 sq ft does not meet this requirement. Town Code states the minimum frontage of 75 ft per unit is required, the proposed project with a frontage of 50 ft per unit does not meet this requirement. Town Code states the minimum side yard setback is 20 ft, the proposed project with a setback of 10 ft does not meet this requirement. Town Code section 161-29 B (3) states the minimum front setbacks required for a corner lot is 50 ft., the proposed project with setbacks of 10 ft and 9.8 ft do not meet this requirement. 

Said hearing will take place at the Waterford Town Hall located at 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York. All interested parties wishing to appear may do so in person or by other representation. 

This Notice of Public Hearing is given pursuant to Article 16 of the Town Law.  By order of the Zoning Board of the Town of Waterford, New York.
