Waterford, N.Y.……. The Waterford Historical Museum will open its doors free of charge on Saturday, September 24, 2016 as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 12^th annual Museum day Live! On this day only, participating museums across the U.S. emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities.

The Museum Day Live Ticket is available for download at Smithsonian.com/museumday. Gain free Museum entrance for two at the Waterford Museum on that day only with a Smithsonian ticket. One ticket per household is permitted.

Two exhibits are on view at the moment, “Waterford 200,” celebrating the 200^th Anniversary of the Town of Waterford and “Born of Two Rivers, An Illustrated History of Waterford.”
