Friday, September 11

2:45                 Official start of the Tugboat Parade, beginning at the Port of Albany (Shed 2)

5:00                 Parade boats begin to arrive in Waterford

7:00 – 9:00      All Nite Long plays on the Grand Erie

 

Saturday, September 12

9:00                 Waterfront open.  Vendors, Exhibits, Family Activities, Boat rides and walk-through tours of Tugboats through at least 5:00pm

                        Mini-Tugs will be “working” the Waterford harbor

                        Line-splicing  and knot tying seminars with the “Marlinspike Artist”

                        Boat Show at Lock 2, presented by Eastern NY Marine Dealer’s Association, Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and Boating on the Hudson

                        Tug Urger open for tours at Lock 2

                        Farmer’s Market  at Lock 2

                        Antique Outboard Motor display by the Old Outboard Guy

10:00 – 3:00    Meet Sal the Mule at Lock 2, sponsored by the Waterford Museum. 

11:00 – 2:00    Lawson plays on the Grand Erie

11:30               Roundtable discussion on Lehigh Valley #79 railroad barge.  Inland Waterway Transportation, the Tug industry, the Old Days and the Problems of the World.

12:00               Kid’s Activities open at Lock 2:

                                    “Bounce House” by Saratoga Bounce (until dusk)

                                    Pony Rides  by Dream Ponies (until 4)

1:30 & 4:00     “1500 Miles on the Erie Canal” – a slide show presentation by Tugster relating experiences on the Urger in 2014.    At the Pennsy Barge.

2:30 – 5:30      Flood Road plays on the Grand Erie

6:00 – 9:00      Good Sir plays on the Grand Erie

Dusk              Fireworks!  By Santore’s World Famous Fireworks

 

Sunday, September 13
