Notice of Public Hearing

 Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Town of Waterford, New York, will hold a

Public Hearing at the Waterford Visitors Center, located along the Mohawk River at 1 TugBoat Lane, Waterford, New York, on August 11, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. in the evening to hear comments concerning an application for review and approval of a proposed site plan.

 

The property proposed for review is the former Millview Nursing Home Building at the corner of Grace Street and Vanderwerken Avenue. Scott Derry owns the property and intends to convert the building into eight, upscale apartments with off street parking for the facility. 

 

The adjacent property is bounded by or nearby lands reputedly owned by:

 

Edward Baur & Tracy Savoie 86 Vanderwerken Avenue       North Side

Waterford Wesleyan Church   Grace Street                             East Side

Town of Waterford                  Grace Street                             South Side

All parties in interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard at this Public Hearing.

Those unable to attend may submit comments in writing, care of the Planning Board Secretary at

Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York.

 

This Notice of Public Hearing is given pursuant to Article 16 of the Town Law. By order of the
