Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Waterford, New York, will hold a public hearing at Town Hall, 65 Broad Street, Waterford, New York, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. in the evening to hear comments concerning an application for an area variance.
The property proposed for review is located at 2 Timber Drive in a R-75 zoning district. The applicant, Lan Cantrell seeks an area variance in order to construct a 6 foot high fence in her front yard along the Fonda Road side of her property. The following area variance is being requested:
Allow a 6 foot high fence instead of 3 feet high in front yard along Fonda Road. Section 161-29 B(4) allows only a maximum fence height of 3 feet in a front yard. The fence that will be located in the front yard will project out 17 feet from the house towards Fonda Road and then traverse approximately 90 feet north parallel to Fonda Road. It then traverses along the north property line for 17 feet before leaving the front yard.
